How long have you been in business?
We have been in business for 33 years. Over the years we have offered various products including high tech electronic components, plastic lumber and since 1996 the current lines of Mah Jongg, t-shirts and handbags
What is your primary product or service?
Mah Jongg sets and accessories, leather,eco-friendly and evening handbags and sports t-shirts. The Mah Jongg and t-shirt lines are sold on a retail, wholesale and export basis. We serve customers nationwide and worldwide.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
KMA Industries Inc. started out in 1983 as an export management firm handling the electronic and electrical components for export of over 100 U.S. firms. When this industry changed due to outsourcing overseas, the owner who had been in the electronics field for several years, switched product lines to the ones currently handled. She is an expert Mah Jongg player and teacher and has a background in International Sales and Marketing with a multi-lingual ability.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We offer products that are not readily available elsewhere among Mah Jongg distributors. Many of the items we offer are made just for us in the USA and can only be obtained through us. In the handbag line, the MC brand is only available through direct dealers like ourselves. They do not offer the line in department stores. The same is true of the other handbag lines we offer. We also give personal service.Although our Mah Jongg line is offered through our website www.funwithmahjongg.com online, you can also call us and speak to a live person rather than a computer if you have any questions.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We currently have one location but work with gift shops throughout the USA and internet shops overseas who offer our products.

What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
We get numerous after-sale comments from customers as to the timely manner in which shipments are made and the fact that when you call, you are not talking to a computerized system but a real person who can answer questions and give you immediate stock and shipping status of your order.
