How long have you been in business?
West Park Baptist Church was incorporated with the State of Florida in 1982 and has been in its present location, 4004 Lake Ida Road, Delray Beach since 1983.
What is your primary product or service?
As a church we offer clear Bible teaching, worship services, teen group, Sunday School for all ages, Summer Day Camp, Martial Arts Instruction and much more!
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Pastor Michael McClure is not the owner. The church belongs to Jesus Christ. Pastor McClure, however, entered the ministry in 1969 and has been with West Park Baptist Church since 1982 and has been the Senior Pastor since 1984. After becoming a Christian in 1969 Michael McClure began study for the ministry at Tennessee Temple University, Pensacola Christian College and Great Plains Baptist Divinity Schoo.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Our church offers more of a traditional style worship service. We sing hymns and use the old King James Version Bible. We hold to the foundational Christian doctrines. Our congregation is representative of the Delray Beach area with a variety of people from differing age groups and back grounds. West Park Baptist Church is a great place to come to know God and to grow in your faith!
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have only one location (we have been here since 1983) and have plenty of room for expansion at that location.

From I-95 Exit at Atlantic Avenue and go West to Congress Avenue. Turn right or North onto Congress Avenue. Travel to Lake Ida Rod (the firs traffic light after turning onto Congress Avenue) Turn left or West onto Lake Ida Road. The church will be one mile on the left or South side of the road at 4004 Lake Ida Road. From Military Trail (North or South bound) Turn East onto Lake Ida Road. Travel one mile (through the intersection at Barwick Road and Lake Ida Road). The church will be on the right or South side of the Road very quickly after passing the traffic light at Barwick Road and Lake Ida Road. There is a city Fire Station on the North East corner at Lake Ida and Barwick. The church is on the opposite (South)side of the road just East of the fire station.
