How long have you been in business?
We have been in the weight loss business for 14 years.
What is your primary product or service?
We provide weight loss counselling to people of all ages and sizes, and we retail delicious protein-based food products that may be enjoyed as snacks and/or meal replacements.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I practiced family medicine for 14 years and felt I couldn't really help my patients with their conditions and complaints because most of what is wrong with people in general is the result of their lifestyle habits. As a weight management physician, I have the opportunity to teach people how to eat and exercise properly and thereby prevent and treat disease.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
In contrast to commercial weight loss businesses, we are a medical practice. Our clients are seen one-on-one at every visit by either myself, an MD, or our RN. We provide counsel that is based on the principles of bariatric (weight management) medicine, and we are able to prescribe FDA-approved medications to assist with weight loss when necessary. In contrast to other weight loss medical practices, we do not administer treatments that are not FDA-approved for weight loss.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We currently have one location, in Boynton Beach, and do not have plans for expansion at this time.

We are located in the Publix shopping center at the NW corner of Woolbright and Jog Roads, next to Subway.

We accept cash, checks, debit cards, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
Which areas do you service?
Because our clients see us frequently, usually every week or two, our proximity to their homes is vital, so the vast majority of our clients live in southern and central Palm Beach County.

Monday through Friday, 9 to 5 (or later, when our appointment schedule requires)
