How long have you been in business?
MacArthur Beach State Park opened to the public in 1989. One year later, in 1990, the Friends of MacArthur Beach State Park was founded to generate supplemental resources to preserve, restore, and interpret the natural and cultural assets of the Park for present and future generations.
What is your primary product or service?
MacArthur Beach State Park was established to protect a diverse and undisturbed subtropical coastal habitat from development, and to serve the citizens of Florida and visitors from around the world. A Welcome & Nature Center entertain and educate visitors with a resident Loggerhead Sea Turtle, three large aquariums and other live animals. The Beach Outfitters rents kayaks for close exploration of the estuary and Munyon Island and sells needed supplies and gifts for those special people in your life. Our beach is almost two miles of paradise and offers two reefs for underwater exploration.
